A Chinese cuisine that is
older than my mom at 64+ years. On a day we don’t crave for anything else, a
Chinese food is a default.
Our ORDERS:
Beef Wanton Noodles 180 Php
A soup base fare is always a good appetizer. The soup
was very tasty and the wanton is not fatty and it was served bubbling hot. Good
for sharing. It fed 3 angry and hungry mouths that day.
Yang Chow Fried Rice 220 Php
Not the best I had but plausible. Not meaty nor veggie
on taste and appearance, I can give this a so-so rate. I highly recommend to
use the chili sauce to enhance your appetite and give it a little kick. If you’re
not that sensitive I suppose.
Lemon Chicken 270 Php
A staple viand to our Chinese food fare, this or white chicken. I love lemon chicken from another Chinese eatery and this didn’t make par from it. Another point for a so-so chow rating. I’ll give a commendable to the fried cutlet chicken since it was thoroughly dispensed of oil and the sauce is not super thick and not so lemony.
When we order to any Chinese cuisine resto, we
constantly have food representation to water kingdom. Hahaha… since we already
have chicken from the land we need to balance this with some sea creature and
SQUID we choose you . The pepper is not that visible or
maybe they used white pepper? Just a guess since they serve white pepper with
the stacked of condiments on the side of our table. Not too salty nor peppery. Can
be eaten without the accompaniment of vinegar. I’ll give this is a 65% yah and
35% nah.
The side story…
Is it just me or the food was not just satisfying
enough or maybe I’m just demanding more? Anyways, I’d like to come to give them
a redeemable review. And please try going for yourself seeing as they are a
long time running restaurant, they won’t run this long if they are not good
right? Plus I saw the order of the table next to us and the chopsuey looks
delish.
